Wow! What a season it has been. We are super excited to celebrate the season with y’all this Friday at the Hetty Green Park from 4-6:30pm. Bring along you and yours and come enjoy the harvest bounty with us. This is the time to stock up and freeze, can, and dry to save money on your grocery bill–everything is in abundance and at a great price.
As a group, we are also greatly looking forward to our Fall Markets, being held at 33 Bridge Street (also affectionately known as the “WOOL building”) on October 20th, November 17th, and December 15th from 4-7pm. This will give you a chance to catch up with your favorite Greater Falls Farmers’ Market vendors and enjoy the opportunity to reduce your carbon footprint by keeping it local.
If you participated in the “6 of 8″ program, please check in with me at the market. This is the last chance to have your name entered into our drawing to get a wonderful gift for being such a loyal customer. Prizes include: $20 Gift Certificate to Harlow Farm or Pete’s Stand or Vermont Elderberry, A wonderful Herb Book and Produce Bags from Village Square Booksellers, a Gorgeous Piece of Citrine from Windham Antiques, a Gift from Daddy’s Girl Soaps, or a Gift from Joanna Alix. Whoa! Lots of chances to win.
As always, if you are an EBT shopper, please stop on by the Market Table to match $10 of benefits with $10 FREE dollars in Crop Cash. Tell your friends all about this wonderful program.
Thank you all for keeping it local with us this season–I appreciate your efforts to build community, reduce packaging and fossil fuel consumption, and create a positive environment for commerce and socialization. We need to be the change we want to see. Thank you for making a difference.
